Lillian Bloom (Retired)

Lillian Bloom was the secretary in the Radiation and  Solid State Laboratory (RSSL) for about thirty years.  She made invisible the interface between the RSSL, the rest of the university, and the outside world of vendors.  She prepared all texts for papers to be published and reports to be forwarded.  She was a sympathetic human contact to the graduate students and visiting scientists, and an expert in organizing parties to celebrate notable occasions.
