Alexander Durandin

Dr. Durandin now holds the position of  Senior Research Scientist in the Radiation and Solid State Laboratory (RSSL).  He joined the RSSL as a Visiting Scientist from the Institute of Physical Energetics of the Latvian Academy  of Sciences in Riga, Latvia where he had a distinguished research publishing record. To the great gain of the United States and New York University in particular, Dr. Durandin chose to remain  in this country.  He is a deep thinker, and has close to unparalleled technical skills and insight into the core of the experiment at hand.  His work with me involved challenging experimental difficulties, which he overcame, and resulted in both inventions and discoveries of new phenomena.
